Purpose: Prevent loss of life, injuries; loss or damage to private and public property and reduce or prevent adverse environmental impacts resulting from the accidental release of Hazardous Materials/Substances (HM) during transportation and/or at fixed facilities in Carroll County.

The Carroll County Hazardous Materials Response Team in addition serves as a level II Hazardous Materials Response Team in the State of Tennesse CBRNE Task Force for Homeland Security District 9.
